A REGIONAL HR MANAGER - GENERATING DEMAND (Marketing)
Company environment:
Our client is an international FMCG Company with a Central & West Africa Head Office in Accra, Ghana. For strong high performing individuals, they offer an interesting job in a challenging and culturally diverse environment with focus and stronger link to the Business. Position reports to Regional HR Manager
Profile/ Qualifications
HR Degree with great exposure to marketing issues or Marketing Degree with specific focus on HR strategy (succession planning, management development, manpower planning…)
The candidate should have at least 3 years of senior managerial experience ideally within an FMCG environment. Very strong business acumen will be a definite advantage
Ability to manage under pressure and in a changing environment
Experience of matrix organization
Strong influencing and communication skills and ability to develop relevant networks at all levels of the organisation
Strong facilitation skills and ability to run workshops/training sessions
Thorough analytical and good leadership skills
Ability to use all usual IT tools
Purpose statement
To act as a business partner by ensuring alignment between the HR and Marketing Strategies
Overview the resources of Generating Demand function across the organization with the line managers and in close collaboration with the country managers & the country HR managers
To facilitate the provision of efficient tools in all areas of HR field in order to add value to the business
To lead and facilitate change based on business strategies
To provide excellent professional advice and support to Marketing managers ensuring appropriate people management solutions are delivered.
Key Success Factors
Understanding of key business challenges and of HR practices and ability to identify opportunities where the HR function can make a difference
Ability to influence line managers to understand the value adding of key HR processes and make HR issues as high as possible on their agenda
Build trust and confidence within the line in the HR processes and its strategic agenda
Demonstrate and promote the company's values and integrate them within the department's functions.
Key Responsibilities
To contribute to identify and direct HR priorities within the Marketing function, to lead the delivery of the HR Strategy, contributing to enhanced business performance and provide strategic alignment and inputs to the HR Strategy with specific focus on Marketing Strategy
To deliver and provide guidance on all people decisions. To support the Marketing Function with Talent and Leadership Development program
To drive and participate in interventions focused on organizational renewal strategies
To drive functional specific HR projects identified as priorities from the HR strategy in order to improve business. To lead and facilitate change
