France still plays a major role in maintaining dictatorial regimes hence preserving its access to raw materials to fuel its economic growth. I totally agree with Nôogo, actually if Africa is not free, how can she think scientific inventions? Frankly I was beginning to trust naively Wade with the monument dedicated to the African renaissance. I think I was wrong. |

The Francophonie is a sham and I think I always thought because it provides nothing more to Africans who speak that language. It's like the CFA is made to ensure the exclusivity of France's control: (a preserve of France). It's imperative that the francophone Africans get rid of this right if they want to get out of it. It must allow other nations to come to compete with France to promote the interests of African people. International competition is the only way out for Africa. African people stand up for your rights ! |

16 millions d'€uros, cela fait environ 8 milliards de francs CFA, et non 853 millions comme écrit dans l'article...
Cette somme est inférieure au budget officiellement consacré par la Côte d'Ivoire à l'organisation de son propre cinquantenaire : 10 milliards de francs CFA...
Donc Toubon et consorts font du bruit pour rien, ou si peu, car la France n'a plus les moyens de ses ambitions impérialistes en Afrique ; même si sa capacité de nuisance (militaire, diplomatique & médiatique) est à peu près intacte...
Ce cinquantenaire pourrait être l'occasion de poursuivre l'Etat français devant les tribunaux internationaux pour ses innombrables crimes commis en Afrique : à Madagascar (1947), au Cameroun (1966 et sq), en Oubangui Chari, à Thiaroye, etc.
