Japan to Build Hydropower Stations in Uganda

The Japanese government is to construct small hydropower projects in Uganda especially in rural areas so as to develop the country, its new ambassador has said.
Ryuuzo Kikuchi said Japan was also considering investing in larger hydropower projects in Uganda but would first look for financiers.
He said Japan would expand the upland rice scheme initiated by Vice- President Prof. Gilbert Bukenya for domestic consumption and export.
Kikuchi was meeting the second deputy Prime Minister, Lt. Gen. Moses Ali, at his office in Kampala on Wednesday.

Tres interessant comme projet.
Une certaine decentralisation de la production energetique, pour un pays comme le cameroun (et d'autres d'afrique) dote de plusieurs fleuves assez eparpilles sur le territoire ce serait une bonne alternative aux grands barrages dont la gerance est assez chaotique.
As tu des articles plus explicites notemment sur le cote specification, avec plus de details ?
